Penserra hosted a Valentine’s Give back where employees assembled gift bags for the houseless in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area. Bags were assembled in office and included toiletries, gloves and hats, snacks, hand warmers, Valentine’s cards and candy. Christina Yardley from our Orinda office went with her mom to Oakland, CA and passed out 40+ bags to individuals. “The bags were gone in less than 15 minutes!” Christina gushed. Proving that the next event should result in at least twice as many packages.
Lupe Nunez from our Chicago office gathered Andrew Cubria, Raisa Ojeda, Rob Wood & Roland Somorin to deliver bags to the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese. “It felt really good to do this,” said Lupe. Catholic Charities in Chicago is a nonprofit that helps serve and support people in need.
