Penserra’s Anthony Castelli delivered the firm’s charitable donation to Paule T. Pachter, CEO of Long Island Cares at their Hauppauge, NY headquarters. Founded as the first food bank on Long Island by the late Harry Chapin in 1980, Long Island Cares is one of the region’s most comprehensive hunger assistance organizations, serving thousands of individuals and families in need.
Long Island Cares provides nutritional food and support services for a network of over 580 community-based member agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, child care programs, disability organizations, veteran services programs and more. Their mission is to “bring together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry on Long Island, and provide to the best of our ability for the humanitarian needs of the community.”
Penserra and its people believe we have a fundamental social responsibility to positively impact the communities where we work and live.
