November 18, 2025 (Chicago, IL) – Last week, Penserra’s Chicago team spent two days volunteering at the Chicago Winter Standdown, and it was an experience that truly puts things in perspective.
The goal of the Standdown is simple but powerful: support veterans in our community who are facing housing instability or homelessness by connecting them with critical resources, services, food, and winter gear.
From helping set up on Day 1 to seeing hundreds of veterans walk through the doors on Day 2, the event was a reminder of how much we owe to those who have served and how meaningful it is to show up for them now.
We are proud of our team for stepping up and grateful for the work this organization does to support our veterans as winter approaches.
