Penserra recently partnered with Aim High, an organization committed to closing the opportunity and achievement gaps in Northern California through transformative summer learning programs. Aim High creates life-changing opportunities during the summer and beyond by:
- Nurturing the promise and potential of middle school students from low-income neighborhoods
- Preparing students for high school, setting them on the path to college and future success
- Inspiring the next generation of teachers and educational leaders
(Representing Penserra at Aim High’s 2018 Annual Gala in San Francisco were (L to R) George Madrigal, Penserra, Chief Executive Officer, John Pascente, Head of Investment Banking, and Francisco de Bocos, Senior Vice President-Capital Markets.)
Through Aim High’s four-year summer learning program, low-income middle school students gain critical skills, strengthen their academic foundation, and enjoy enriching activities. An impressive 98% of students who complete Aim High graduate from high school and enroll in college, compared to the national average of 52% among low-income students.
